"FRESH BAIT BEDDING"
Not all
worms use the same bedding. Over the past 4 years we have
tried many different ways to bed our worms. Some have worked,
some have not. Each failure brought us closer to the product
we are using now. Please don't think it is the last change we
will make, but it "IS" the best at the
moment.
The
Dendrobeana needs a bedding different than Canadian Nightcrawlers or
Regular Redworms. In fact, DO NOT USE this product on either
of those worms. The PH and food contants will either damage or
kill those worms.
BUT,
Fresh Bait Bedding is the BEST thing for The European. We cup
our worms for bait shops and wholesale customers in our Fresh Bait
Bedding, because they know that the worms will look better after 3
weeks on the shelf, than they did the day they were
cupped.
It is
very close to the exact bedding the worms have been living in since
they hatched, but less grain, to stop heating in the cups. You
can store the worms, cupped in 8 oz. plastic cups, at 50 to 75
degrees for up to 3 weeks with out worry. They just keep
growing. (after 3 weeks, they still have another week before they
begin to lose weight)
Sold moist in plastic lined 12"x6"x6" box. 5 pounds of
bedding per box . Enough to cup 2500 worms. (25 worms per cup) Or
enough bedding for 1000 worms for a month.
