When we have
time, we hand pick breeder worms. It's a lot of work, but makes a
great starting point for growers.
We go through our
beds and only take out Dendrobeana worms. This helps stop the
unwanted worms from reproducing with the good worms. The pure worms
are kept away from all other worms. And their cacoons are kept away
from all other cacoons.
If you are a
fishermen, our regular stock it just fine. BUT if you are someone
that wants to start breeding worms contact us. We can not
supply large amounts of Hand Picked due to the labor. But with
the reproduction rates, a large breeding stock can be
grown.

To be successful
doing this, you must have confined housing for the worms. The
possibility of other worms getting into you stock is very
great. Either from just crawling in or being carried in by
birds or brought in with food material. It only takes 2 to
contaminate things.
