All Bulk worms are shipped in dry bedding. PLEASE add water (Nonchlorinatated) when they arrive. DO NOT use cold water.  Add 1 qt./1000 worms. Additional bedding also be added.

Bedding:

           Mix 2.5 gallon of dry Sphagnum Peat with 1/2 pint of Calcium Carbonate (Ag. Lime). This amount of bedding will last 1000 worms 4 weeks.

           When mixed, add 2 gallons of non chlornated water and mix till totally wet. (correct moisture is when a couple of drops of water come out when "lightly" squeezed). A small amount of corn meal may also be sprinkled on top of the bedding. No more than 1 tablespoon/1000 worms per feeding. Do not reefed until 24 hours after feed has been consumed. KEEP IN COOL  LIGHTED AREA!
